Patient: I just wanted to tell you that my pain is coming back.
Me: Aww man, I'm sorry to hear that. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your pain?
Patient: I don't-
Family member: She has a high pain tolerance. It's probably a 7.
Patient: I think it's around a 5.
Family member: Well that's a 7 for everyone else.
